Salí a caminar un poco e ir conociendo Xi’an, ya había visto la Torre de la Campana en el centro de la ciudad, y quería ir hacia su vecina Torre del Tambor y tratar de encontrar la Gran Mezquita de Xi’an, tenía curiosidad de ver cómo es una mezquita china, ya había contado antes que una de las cultura que más me fascinan es la musulmana, pero solo he tenido contacto con los musulmanes del medio oriente (en Hong Kong vi muchos musulmanes de Indonesia y Filipinas, pero no pude conocer mucho sobre ellos), así que iba con mucha curiosidad.
La zona entre las dos torres, la campana y el tambor, es una mezcla de jardines y comercios, algunos artesanos callejeros, músicos y bailarines, y algo de comida, no muy diferente a lo que me he encontrado en otras ciudades chinas.
Siguiendo el rastro de la comida, pasando al lado de la Torre del Tambor y yendo hacia la calle trasera me encuentro con otro mundo, como la entrada a otra ciudad de olor delicioso.
En la segunda parte seguiré contando mis aventuras en lo que seria mi parte favorita de la ciudad, el barrio musulmán de Xi’an.

I went for a walk and get to know a little more of Xi’an, had already seen the Bell Tower in the center of the city, and wanted to go to its neighbor, the Drum Tower, and try to find the Great Mosque of Xi’an, I was curious to see how it is a Chinese mosque, as I told before one of the culture that most fascinating me it is the Muslim, but I only had contact with Muslims from the middle east (in Hong Kong saw many Muslims of Indonesia and the Philippines but could not know much about them), so I was very curious.
The area between the two towers, the bell and the drum, is a mixture of gardens and shops, some street artisans, musicians and dancers, and some food, not unlike what I have found in other Chinese cities.
Following the trail of the food, passing next to the Drum Tower and going to the back street I find another world, as the entrance to another city, one with a delicious smell.
In the second part I will continue telling my adventures in what would be my favorite part of the city, the Muslim Quarter of Xi’an.
