Olympus PEN EE3

En los últimos 6 meses más o menos he estado jugando con esta cámara, la Olympus PEN EE3, una cámara de film fabricada desde los años 60’s hasta principio de los 80’s, es una cámara muy pequeña totalmente mecánica de exposición automática, no podría ser más fácil de usar.

El rollo que use fue el Kodak ColorPlus 200, un film de grado bajo, y creo que estaba vencido, pero estaba bien para hacer las pruebas.

Fue divertido estar siempre con la cámara, esta tiene un extraño formato de medio frame, lo que me dio el doble de exposiciones, 72 en total, por eso me llevó tanto tiempo terminar el rollo.

Al final la calidad de las fotos no es muy buena, pero fue muy interesante el resultado, espero hacer otras pruebas pronto, luego que haya llevado la cámara a hacer mantenimiento y corregido ciertos problemas que vi en las fotos.

Esto es apenas una pequeña muestra muchas más cosas que estan por venir en film, un área que estoy trabajando ahora más seriamente, ya escribiré más sobre eso.

In the past 6 months or so I’ve been playing with this camera, the Olympus PEN EE3 a film camera manufactured from the 60’s to early 80’s, is a very small fully mechanical automatic exposure camera, could not be easier to use.

The roll that I used was the Kodak ColorPlus 200, a low grade film, and I think it was expired, but it was fine for testing.

It was fun to always have the camera with me, this camera has a strange half-frame format, which gave me the double of exposures, 72 in total, that’s why it took me so long to finish the roll.
